The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is recognized as the fastest car in the world. This hypercar hails from Sweden and can travel at a speed of 531 km/h with a curb weight of 1389 kg. Its streamlined design is reminiscent of a fighter jet, resulting in a very low drag coefficient of just 0.278. This is one of the main factors that allows us to achieve such high speeds.
The maximum speed of the Bugatti Bolide hypercar “according to the passport” exceeds 499 km/h with a curb weight of 1225 kg. But this car, built on the basis of the Chiron, is exclusively track-oriented. Its 8-liter W16 four-turbo engine can produce 1,825 hp, but runs only on 110-octane gasoline. It is offered for sale at a price of $4.2 million.
Hennessey Venom F5
The fast monster Hennessey Venom F5 can reach speeds of over 499 km/h. There is no information about its acceleration time to 100 km/h, but it accelerates to 300 km/h in less than 10 seconds. The car is equipped with a 7.4-liter twin-turbine V8 engine producing 1,600 hp. The model began to be produced in the fourth quarter of 2018. You can buy it for $1.6 million.
In terms of dynamics, this hypercar surpasses even Formula 1 cars! The Hennessey Venom F5 has an outstanding power-to-weight ratio. The car weighs 1338 kg – thus, 1196 hp per ton.
All structural elements of this megacar are original, not borrowed from other brands. This applies to both the carbon fiber body and the unique engine: although it has a cylinder block from GM, most of the elements are original. The circulation of the issue is only 24 copies.
The maximum declared speed of the SP Automotive Chaos Zero Gravity Version ultracar from the Greek automaker Spyros Panopoulos Group is 499 km/h. The manufacturing company is involved not only in automotive, but also in aviation, aerospace, naval and medical projects.
The revolutionary Chaos hypercar was presented to the general public in 2022. Aerospace materials were used for its manufacture, and the car itself was printed on a 3D printer.

The American company CZinger is quite young, founded in 2019. It specializes in the production of ultracars with a hybrid power plant. The company’s mission is quite ambitious – to change the automotive industry by refocusing it on “hybrids”! And this is where CZinger succeeds.
The uniqueness of the CZinger 21C model is that it was developed using artificial intelligence and printed on a 3D printer. Under the hood is a 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid powertrain developed by CZinger. The maximum power of the model is 1350 hp.
The car has minimal drag and is capable of moving at a top speed of 452 km/h.
Koenigsegg Agera RS
Claimed to be one of the fastest street cars in the world, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is equipped with the famous 5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, upgraded by 1 megawatt.
The circulation of this hypercar is only 25 copies. But you are unlikely to see them on the streets – such cars, as a rule, are in private collections. The Koenigsegg Agera RS reaches speeds of up to 447 km/h and costs $2 million.
This car has a good power-to-weight ratio: with a weight of 1360 kg, its power is 1360 hp. This is why the model got its name. The structure of the Koenigsegg One:1 is made of hydrocarbon fiber. This maximizes speed potential. The power unit is a 5 liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging. It is adapted from the Agera R but modified to increase power and torque.
This megacar accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, and its top speed reaches 439 km/h. This miracle of the Swedish automobile industry costs $2 million.
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport megacar accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. Under the hood is an eight-liter W16 four-turbo power unit. The power of this car is 1200 hp. It was produced from 2010 to 2011. Costs 2 million euros.
With an electronic limiter, the speed of this car is 415 km/h, but in 2010 the car was tested at the Volkswagen test site in Germany, turning off the speed limit system, and it gave 431 km/h. At the time, this became a world record, which was only broken in 2017.
The Veyron project of the Volkswagen automaker has always amazed with its maximum speeds, stylish exterior and “gluttony”: the car’s 105-liter gas tank, moving at top speed, is emptied in no more than 12 minutes. The product cannot be called commercial, since it is unprofitable.
Nevertheless, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has gone down in history as the most unique, highly artistic technical development. The creators put all their talent into it! But the price of this masterpiece had to be reduced, which allowed the entire circulation of 450 copies to be sold.
The Bugatti Chiron ultracar has been produced since 2016. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds. The car is equipped with a four-turbine W16 engine with a volume of 8 liters. As for the maximum speed of this car, with an electronic limit it is 420 km/h, and tests have not yet been carried out with the limiter disabled. This is due to the fact that Bugatti cannot guarantee that the Michelin tires installed on the wheels of these cars are capable of withstanding such high speed loads.

Under the hood is a 5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and, in addition to it, three electric motors. The power of this monster is more than 1500 hp. The Swedish automaker released the Koenigsegg Regera in 2016. It costs about 1.9 million dollars. It is recognized as the most powerful production car in the world.
The Koenigsegg Regera is planned to be produced in a quantity of 80 units. Their production has not yet been completed, but all cars have already been sold out. Acceleration to 100 km/h is limited by the tires, but the Koenigsegg Regera reaches 400 km/h in less than 20 seconds.
This car has a unique powertrain and no gearbox. The thrust to the transmission is transmitted from the main motor through a hydraulic coupling. It can change the level of slippage and even block completely.
When driving slowly at a speed of no more than 50 km/h, a central electric motor is used – that is, the hypercar operates in electric vehicle mode. When driving at high speeds, a five-liter internal combustion engine is responsible for traction on the rear wheels, and the thrust vector is controlled by two electric motors located on the axle shafts of the rear wheels.
