They analyzed the statistics of traffic accidents and found out which SUVs were more likely to be in an accident. The parameters that the experts were guided by when compiling the rating: the availability of full Casco coverage for the current year, the number of thefts of certain car models, accidents, insurance payments, etc.

1st place – Lexus LX
This SUV is especially loved by drivers. It is equipped with all-wheel drive, powerful engine, automatic transmission, excellent electronics and many useful systems. The car belongs to the premium class, it is considered quite reliable, but this did not become a guarantee of safety on the road.
As the insurers found out, it was the Japanese SUV that most often appeared in police reports. More than 50% of road accidents with his participation were recorded.
The study also showed that the Lexus LX has been very popular with car thieves for the past few years. 2022 was no exception: compared to other Lexus models, the SUV was stolen more often than others. The number of recorded cases is about 40% of all stolen cars of this brand.
Experts believe there are several reasons for this. First of all, this is the popularity of a premium car. And secondly, the SUV is easy prey due to the fact that it is equipped with fairly simple on-board electronics and a standard immobilizer. An experienced car thief cracks such protection in a short time. Therefore, owners are advised to think through protection on their own.
2nd place – Chery Tiggo 8 PRO
Stylish, powerful crossover enjoys no less popularity among Russians. The seven-seater SUV has something to praise: a turbocharged engine with a robotic gearbox, digital control with 3 displays, a surround view system, low fuel consumption, etc.
However, despite the rich equipment and a lot of “chips” useful for the driver, this did not save the SUV from getting into the top of the most emergency cars. He became the silver medalist of the anti-rating. 3rd place – Ford Explorer
Large, powerful, fast and comfortable – the car is famous for its many advantages. The premium SUV is available in four trim levels, equipped with a powerful engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The universal SUV became the bronze medalist in the anti-rating of the insurance company. The car got into accidents a little less often than Chery Tiggo 8 PRO. However, compared with other models, the number of accidents with his participation turned out to be quite impressive.
